When I do tricep dips (using a bench) my shoulders hurt

Mine don’t ever hurt from/when doing dips, but everyone is different. Maybe include more rotator cuff exercises in your routine?
You have poor shoulder mobility and it’s most likely a tight posterior delt. It causes your shoulders to arch forward and so when you’re in that dip position, it’s pulling at your bicep tendons which run into your delts.
Shoulder mobility exercises are extremely important before all lifts.
